Work Backward From Your Pack-Out Date

A PCS has a fixed order of events: purge, pack-out, load, cleaning, final walk-through. The dumpster belongs at the very front of that list. Schedule delivery a few days before the packers arrive so you can clear out what isn't making the trip, and set pickup before your cleaning crew or inspection so the driveway is empty for the final look.

Every rental includes 7 days, which covers most purge-and-pack timelines. If orders slip or the movers reschedule, extra days are $25 each. Just call before the scheduled pickup.

• Weekend deliveries are available at no extra charge but must be booked in advance
• Same-day delivery is weekdays only, when available, and never on Saturday or Sunday
• Swap-outs aren't offered; if you fill the container, we pick it up and you can book another

5% Military Discount on Residential Rentals

Military and first responders get 5% off residential dumpster rentals with valid ID. It applies to every size: the 10-yard at $375 with 2 tons, the 20-yard at $455 with 2 tons, and the 30-yard at $550 with 3 tons. Mention it when you call 757-250-7985 so we can verify it before booking.

Most families clearing a three- or four-bedroom house choose the 20-yard. A one-bedroom apartment or a light purge usually fits in the 10.

Living in Base Housing?

Base and privatized military housing comes with its own rules about where containers can sit and who can drive onto the installation. Check with your housing office before you book and ask whether a roll-off is allowed at your unit and where it should be placed. Once you know what they allow, call us and we'll plan delivery around it.

If a dumpster isn't an option, our junk removal crew is another route for clearing out a base-housing unit, subject to the same housing and access requirements.

What to Purge, and What to Keep Out of the Can

Broken furniture, worn-out mattresses, outgrown kids' gear, garage clutter and anything too bulky for its value against your weight allowance are good candidates. Mattresses and box springs are $100 each and tires $75 each. Paint that isn't fully dry, chemicals, fuel, batteries and untagged Freon appliances can't go in.
